New features, improvements, and fixes for Web, Mobile, and Mac.
HyNote for Mac is now available as a private, local-first AI note taker. Record Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, and other Mac audio without inviting a bot. Keep recordings, transcripts, notes, and voiceprints on your Mac, then use on-device transcription and Local AI to…
Choose Audio Overview from the note templates when you would rather listen than read. HyNote turns your note into a spoken recap you can play back. It's another way to revisit the ideas in a meeting, lecture, or document when you're away from the screen.
You can now select several notes and organize them in one action. Move the selected notes into a folder or delete them together instead of repeating the same step for each note. This makes it easier to tidy up a growing workspace.
New Notebook now accepts DOCX, Markdown, and TXT files. Upload a document you already have to create a HyNote note without copying and pasting its contents. You can keep those materials alongside your recordings and other notes for later review.
Turn on Speaker Labels and Translation in Record Audio to follow a conversation as it happens. Speaker labels help you see who said what in the live transcript, while translated text helps you follow along across languages. After recording, you can update speaker names where…
When you import a web page into New Notebook, the HyNote Chrome extension can capture content from pages you're signed in to. This helps you save material that a regular web import may not be able to access. If the extension cannot capture a page, HyNote also tries its regular…
Record Audio now lets you jot down your own notes while capturing a conversation. Mark a point you want to remember or write a question without waiting for the recording to end. When a transcript is available, HyNote can use your notes and the transcript together to create a more…
Open Chat with All Notes when the answer could be anywhere in your workspace. Ask a question across your saved notes instead of opening each one to search for a detail. You can use it to revisit earlier discussions and connect ideas that appeared in different notes.
